Whispers of the Earth explores the relationship between living beings and their environment, capturing the calm of landscapes and animals that, in their apparent serenity, conceal fragility and vulnerability. These images point to the presence of lives that usually remain outside the frame: beings subjected to exploitation or violence, whose precariousness often goes unacknowledged.
The work employs reflections, fabrics, smoke, and natural pigments to create layers of perception and resonance, where texture and light flow across the scene, revealing what is not always visible. In its installation, the images are printed on translucent textiles suspended from ceiling to floor, allowing viewers to walk among them. This immersive format multiplies the planes of vision: a cow appears in its natural presence, while behind it, echoed in red, emerges its spectral double—an imprint of memory, sacrifice, and vitality.
Beyond direct denunciation, the series opens a space for poetic contemplation and ethical reflection. It asks: which lives are seen as worthy of mourning, which are recognized, and which remain outside the frame? In this tension, precariousness emerges as a shared condition of all existence, reminding us of the urgency of inhabiting the world with care, attention, and responsibility.
It is a subtle yet profound call to see, to feel, and to acknowledge what so often remains invisible.
